Roberto Straal To Guest Coach Week 2 - Reserve Your Spot Now!

Hansa Soccer Academy will be offering the unique opportunity for Chicagoland soccer players to train with former professional soccer player and coach Roberto Straal. Coach Straal is, "I'm happy to be back at Hansa this summer to train with the kids. It was one of the best camps I've had the pleasure of working with as a coach. Hansa is an extremely organized camp and a great place for any kid that loves soccer."

Roberto is a Dutch footballer who played for Dutch First Division (Eredivisie) clubs De Graafschap, Vitesse, MVV Maastricht and SC Heerenveen from 1986-1998. He also played in the German Bundesliga for Arminia Bielefeld through 2000. Roberto has played with and against some of the best soccer players in the world. His success with his teams had him as a starter in Bundesliga matches as well as 14 UEFA Cup games during his career.

In 2004, Roberto retired from professional soccer and began his coaching career with Vitesse Arnhem Youth Academy where he coached U16 and U18 teams. In addition, he has worked in several youth camps throughout Europe. Roberto joined the staff of Hansa Soccer Academy in 2011 as a guest coach. He holds a UEFA - B - License.
